Dice Rolls FAQ
WAIT? DICE? OVER THE INTERNET?
Yep. That's right. Not so much as physical dice, but this site utilizes a special automated system that players activate in specific situations. It randomizes each player's experience much like having a GM or moderator would at other sites. Dice are used, for instance, to show you which Pokémon you encounter (including its level, gender and whether it's shiny). In effect, it's really a random number generator that you control -- with no moderator involvement!
SO HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you select what dice you want to use, an account called the Dicemaster responds automatically with your results. This means you never have to wait for a moderator to post in a thread -- most of it can be done solo! Of course, you're encouraged to interact with other players as well, but most of the stuff you'd normally have to wait for is right at your fingertips. It's rather like an actual video game, except... you know... with words instead.
THAT SEEMS COMPLICATED
It may seem difficult at first, but you'll get used to it at after just one try. Ask our members: It's really not as confusing as it seems.
HOW DO I ROLL DICE?
